Future development plan

To eastablish a modern rubber wood pressure treating plant at the cost of Tk.1309.00 lac is under process.
DPP submitted for 1057.00 acres of new rubber plantation at Rangunia, Chittagong is under process.
Manufacturing of modern doors, windows and household items to meet the local demand and to modernize the industrial units to face the competition.
During 2000-2001 to 2011, replanted 7773.00 acres and to be replanted 2499.00 acres of rubber plantation by 2013-14.
Rationalizing and creating efficient manpower.
Modernization of factories and smoke-houses, creation of armed guards for rubber sector to protect it from theft/trafficking, infrastructure development.
Export of rubber after fulfillment of local demand of natural rubber by increasing productivity.
Alleviation of poverty of the rural poor people by expansion of rubber cultivation both in private/public sectors especially in the Hilly areas of Bangladesh and Madhupur tracts.
